Risha appointed member of Royal Court
Emilie Risha ’21 likes that this year’s Royal Court is all about strong women.
Emilie Risha ’20 was selected to join the Tournament of Roses’ Royal Court on Monday, September 30. She was chosen out of hundreds of girls that tried out to be one of seven Court members. Her next step in the process will be to wait until Oct. 22 to see if she is chosen to be the Rose Queen.
Risha looks forward to the many new experiences she’ll have as a Rose Queen finalist, including going on a retreat with the other girls on the Court.
“The experience of interviewing was already so rewarding, and I can’t imagine how these next three months are going to go. All the girls are really sweet and I’m looking forward to this opportunity,” Risha said.
