The Veritas Shield Podcast (the VSP) returns in 2023 with an episode about what it’s like to have a sibling with Down Syndrome. Thank you for sharing your experiences and deepening everyone’s understanding of the gift you have been given. This is such a wonderful format to learn from others and this was as good as a Freakonomics podcast! Brava!
Personally, I was especially interested in the discussion of the ‘glass’ child. As a parent it is difficult to balance the needs of the child that needs extra attention due to their health or other difference with those that do not have special needs. Amazingly, it may be this very experience, of not being the center, that builds the type of character you and others having had this experience exhibit. Wonderful listening…podcast on!
